Sorry about that! All our books are made with care but occasionally mistakes are made in production.

If you have a faulty product, please return it to the retailer from whom you bought it. They will replace it on our behalf. However, if they are unable to replace it for any reason, please don’t hesitate to contact us at info@yoyo-books.com or via our Contact Us page. Please mention ‘Faulty product’ in the subject line as well as the ISBN number (see the barcode). Pictures of the issue are also appreciated. We will see what we can do at our end to fix the problem.

At YOYO Books we work a bit differently from other publishers, meaning we start from an idea or concept and then look for the best author to write it.

As such we do not accept unsolicited submissions. However, if you want to try your luck at becoming a freelance writer, you can always send a sample of your writing to our editorial department at editorial@yoyo-books.com.

We currently work with a great freelance team, but seeing as we publish worldwide in many languages, there is often room for an extra translator or proofreader so feel free to contact our editors at editorial@yoyo-books.com or via our Contact Us page. Please don’t forget to list your languages, experience and rates.

Please follow these steps if you have not received your order after 4 working days:
  • Log in to your Yoyo Books account. Is your delivery address correct? Are your contact details up to date?
  • Check that you have not received a message from the courier. Your parcel may be waiting for you at a local delivery depot or you may need to choose a new delivery time.
  • Check if a housemate did not accept your parcel.

 

  • If you still haven't found your parcel after this, please contact us at order@yoyo-books.com with your order number so we can investigate further.

If you live within France, Belgium, Monaco or Andorra, we aim to work with Colissimo to deliver your package within 48h.

If you live in a French overseas territory or another European country, the delivery time may vary from 3 to 8 working days.

Shipping costs are calculated based on weight and the address to which the package is to be sent. Therefore, shipping costs are calculated at the end of your order. 

Import charges for orders from outside the EU are not included in the final price. Customs and import charges are levied once the parcel reaches the destination country. These fees must be paid by the recipient of the package.  Unfortunately, we have no information or control over these charges. This is because customs policies and import duties vary greatly from country to country. We advise you to inform yourself well through your local customs office before placing an order so that you are not surprised by import charges.

We deliver worldwide.

- If you bought the product in a physical shop, please speak to the shop where you bought our booklets. They will assist you further with a refund or an exchange.

- If you bought the booklet through our webshop, follow these steps:

  • Go to your account via our webshop and fill in the return form. 
  • Pack your product properly. If the product is damaged during the return, we do not provide a refund. 
  • Add your return form to your parcel.
  • Send your parcel to Rue du Limousin, BP 25, 23220 Cheniers, France.
  • As soon as we receive your parcel, we will check its contents. After this, we will proceed to refund your order. This may take up to 48 hours. 

Notes:

  • Complete the return form within 14 calendar days of receiving your package.
  • All returned products must be returned in their original packaging. 
  • Please ensure that the products are well packed so that they do not get damaged in the post.
  • If you have purchased a box set, please ensure that the outer packing layer is in place. The box is part of the product, therefore any damage may result in the return being refused.
  • We are not responsible for return shipping costs.
  • We are not responsible for product damage or lost products during return transport. We recommend using a tracked and insured postal service. 
  • If you are returning a product from outside the EU. Please indicate clearly on the package that it is about returned products and tick the option 'Returned product' on the return form. This will help us avoid import duties and taxes.
  • Yoyo Books is not responsible for any return import duties or taxes.

 

If so, it is best to contact us.

You can contact us via the contact form or at orders@yoyo-book.com. After consultation, we will decide to exchange or refund your order.

Upon receipt at our warehouse, your return will be handled within 2 working days. You will receive an e-mail as soon as your return has been unpacked and processed by us.

 For any refunds, we advise you to allow 3-5 working days for the amount to appear in your account. This depends on which bank you are with. If you have ordered by credit card, the amount will appear on your credit card statement after 14 days.


If you have requested an exchange, a new order will be created for the new item. If the item ordered is not in stock, a refund will be initiated.

 

Returning a product must be done within 14 calendar days from the day of receipt.

The product must be returned undamaged and in its original packaging. Follow the steps below to return your product:

  • Go to the return page of your account and check if your product is still valid for return.
  • Select the products you want to return and enter a reason for the return.
  • Pack the products. 
  • Return the package to our warehouse:

  • As soon as we receive your package, we will start the refund procedure.

If the product was returned to us within 14 days, we will refund you the returned products and shipping costs within 2 days. The refund will be made via the payment method you used to place the original order. Did you pay by credit card? Then you will receive the money on your credit card statement within 14 days.

We encourage you to return as many orders as possible in 1 package. All we require is that you fill in each return form received for the orders so that our returns department can efficiently process these shipments for you.

The legal guarantee is fixed at 2 years. If during this period your product is defective or does not conform to what you ordered, you are entitled to a repair or replacement within a reasonable period of time. If both are not possible, you are entitled to a refund of the purchase price or a price reduction. New goods are covered by a 2-year statutory warranty. The seller must provide the warranty at no cost to the buyer. This means that you do not have to bear the return costs yourself in case the warranty applies. Either the seller takes care of the collection of the item or he must reimburse you for the return costs.

Once an order has been placed, we unfortunately cannot cancel it. 

Once your order has been delivered, you can return it by going to your profile and filling in the return form. Then send the package to our warehouse:

You can always view the invoice of your order via your profile. 

Yes, we need your personal and address details to provide you with a good service.  Please note. We only use your details to process the order and do not distribute them to third parties. We do not use your details to send you newsletters or promotions, unless you give us permission to do so by ticking a checkbox.

The prices on our website include VAT and exclude shipping costs.

You can only pay with euros. Our payment provider will convert your local currency into euros.
